Sharon Manssen is an environmental engineer by training and practiced in her chosen fields of river and stormwater engineering and environmental management systems for 15 years before moving into Aurecon’s internal Quality, Environment and Sustainability (QES) team. She currently leads a small team of dedicated QES business partners in Australia and NZ who focus on driving correct application of our processes within our projects. With ‘digital’ being one of the key pillars of Aurecon’s strategy, the QES team is doing its part by utilising meta-data to help us monitor compliance.
In June’s Brisbane chapter meeting Sharon Manssen will present how Aurecon has aligned its measurement of compliance metrics to the company strategy, using a data-driven approach: the Compliance KPI. The talk will cover how the KPI was developed, mapping to both the strategy and the company processes. Examples will be given of how the internal audit programme generates the compliance meta-data, and how the data is used to help focus where interventions are required.
